Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG)
We are delighted to announce that after several months of communication with Medway Council, ALL Medway licensed taxi and private hire drivers are now included in the Additional Restriction
Grant 2 scheme.
The Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) is a discretionary payment to support businesses
that have been affected by the national and local restrictions put in place to manage
coronavirus.
The closing dates for all applications is the 31st of March 2021.
The grants available will range from £175 to £7000 depending on each individuals fixed
costs and loss of income.

All applicants will have to show evidence of their ongoing fixed costs and loss of income.

Making an application.
Make sure you have the following paperwork/documents ready before you apply.
Bank statements :
November 2019
December 2019
January 2020
November 2020
December 2020
January 2021
Remember to highlight any costs/payments related to your business on your bank statements
Accounts :
2019/2020 accounts showing Nov,Dec and Jan turnover (profit and loss)
November 2020, December 2020, January 2021 accounts
Evidence of fixed costs :
A statement of circuit rent paid to an operator
Car insurance
Road tax
Vehicle finance/maintenence/hire agreement or rent/MOT etc
Licensing fees/DBS fee
Mobile phone bill
Fuel
Include any other evidence of your fixed cost that you have to pay out in order to operate

There is also the option to upload a text document to explain in more detail your personal circumstances
Documents can be uploaded from a file on your device, there is the option to photograph (make sure your images are clear) your paperwork instead during the application if using a smart phone or tablet.
